Another blast from this cruelly underrated band. The band's sound was progressively steering away from their pub-rock roots to get into a faster and louder "punk sound". The song is part of a massive serie of demos and rarities that can be found on various compilations and bootlegs.

Yeah I mistook Pure Mania for V2… Pure mania is an all-time classic from the late 70s UK punk heydays. I am always mixed up when it comes to V2 I do love the sleeve though!
Of the 2 albums Mania (the debut album) just shades it over V2. V2 was looking to be a bit poppy and commercial. Pure Mania was in your face with no compromise. Even the slow Baby Baby (classic!) is raw and stripped down. Top Band!
I reckon you got it right here, sound-wise Pure Mania will always be more of 78 lp than ’77. Stitch you up has that ’77 raucous and stripped-down sound I bloody love and which makes the Vibrators a world-class punk act in my opinion
I loved Pure Mania and V2. This one does sound really early. great production. They really knew how to get a great sound back then.
Don’t know, I’m pretty baffled about that one. Besides I dont think it has ever been released as a B-side or anything. I’d randomly say mid ’77 or early ’78.
SOUNDS LIKE A REAL EARLY ONE THIS – BUT WHEN?

Flying Duck Theory is all very well but it’s hard to keep your head in a disposable world!!!!
I don’t know how I misread that as Milwall, I appologise! As long as you don’t support Man United or Chelsea, I’m happy haha!
The name stands for Olivia but I do get called Livvy all the time.
The band Bon Scott was in with our friend was called Fraternity, they were big over here haha.
I’d kill to move to Newcastle, beautiful place when I went through there.
funnily enough it does stand for that because Liverpool FC are my team but my name is also Liv haha. Ahhh AC/DC, very close family friend of ours was in a band and lived with Bon Scott back in the day before AC/DC. Pretty ace stories I’ve heard hahaha
I saw them in my wee town of Adelaide, Australia. First Australian tour so far, hopefully not their last!
He can still melt faces with his guitar though, saw the Vibrators live last Wednesday and had a long chat with him, nice bloke.
